So the artwork is very.... sheep-people.
But I will concede it's cute and pastel enough to give anyone diabetes.

I think I've seen the same art-pack used for the background in several other games. It's not a bad one, but the 'book shop' seems to be a library.

The ONLY route finished seems to be that of a cute little bookworm who likes vampire and werewolf romances and blushes a lot.

This game doesn't seem to have anything resembling a bad-boy of any kind, as far as I can see.

The closest you get is a cute 'imp' (and I use that word loosely) who is still cotton candy cute.

This game seems to be very.... child friendly.

(Although that may be because I tend to favor darker romance games.)

It's not particularly bad. But I wouldn't say it's especially good either.
For the most part is just very, very cute.

Thank you for playing! Yeah, this game is supposed to be very cute and not at all have any dark themes in it.

I keep telling myself I'll come back and finish it, but life keeps getting in the way. If you like darker romances I don't recommend this game or my other game Echoing Tides.

The reason this game isn't finished yet even after a year is because I have more love for writing yandere stories and exploring darker themes rather than a cute romance game like this one. Currently I'm working on my other game I Just Want A Boyfriend! which has more darker themes than this game.

Thank you again for playing my game and for your feedback! (Also please tell me what you mean by sheep-people 😭 I honestly have no idea what that means)

Yandere stories? *perks up* Gimme! Gimme!! ❤️

Which is to say; Please tell me which of your games that are darker romance, cuz that's my favorite stories! Especially yandere! ^_^

Also... If you want to work on this game AND add a touch of darkness for those who like it, you could make one of the characters a yandere.

It would actually work out well with with the shy guy, or maybe the imp.
It doesn't take much to twist friendly cuteness into obsession. And that obsession driving behavior far darker than one could expect.
Juxtapos this level of cuteness with the yandere intensity and darkness, and you'll have a game that seems all the more intense, as the contrasting quality highlights the other quality.

The best yandere's are those that doesn't appear to be....at first.
Only over time will you start to question their intensity, obsession, and --depending on the type yandere-- either those close to you being driven away (or killed), or the yandere manipulating and isolating you from everyone else with each choice to make to choose them over your friends.

And the best games have a wide range of personalities and levels of darkness in the characters --so that each player can find someone they love in it. And people are different and like different things.

I mean... You could have someone as benevolent as the prince in I Want to Escape Princess Lessons (manga), to Sol from The Kid at the Back (game), to Toma from Amnesia TM: Memories, and all the way to that guy in Death by Fire (game), to the crazy type that will kill the player.
(I prefer the type who'd never harm you, but kill everyone else to protect you or have you, but some people do like the really crazy dark ones.)

If you want ideas, the game Perfect Love (on itch) lets you manipulate Milo into becoming just about every type of yandere in the book.
It's a good all-in-one game.

And as long as you remember to add a warning to each character, it helps people pick the type character they like best, from soft and normal to killer-crazy. ^_^

(I know I often choose to check out a game for no other reason than the warnings. lol)

And paired with the incredible cuteness in this game, it would actually be something attractive and unique.

To a degree you can see the effect of pairing cute art with a dark story in Our Wonderland.
Even if that story is not yandere, you can see how the cuteness contrasts the darkness, and actually enhance the darker qualities because of it.

(Most mentioned games is on my saved games on my page on itch, some are on Steam. The manga is on Kindle. If you want to check the out.)

It's just a suggestion of course, and I'd still say to leave one of them non-yandere for the previous fans of the game.
But it could be a way revive your interest in the game, and make it extra good.

The world needs more cute-dark yandere games. ^_^

And I'll definitively check out your boyfriend

The pictures on this page doesn't seem to work....

Good luck and have fun working on the game! I hope to read it in full completion! Look forward to it!
